Harlem Mainstay Survived Riots, but Falls to Renewal
(1 comment)

I am not sure how many people have heard that Copelands is closing after 50 years of feeding Harlem Residents on Sunday, July 29, 2007. There will be a Town Hall Meeting. Many other Harlem Businesses are in danger of closing after the recent closing of Home Sweet Harlem Cafe, Our Cleaners just to name a few and now the order to vacate notice of Manna's III, The Record Shack and quite a few more. Your business can be next. Please RSVP and forward this bullentin to every business owner that you know.

State Senator Bill Perkins
and Division of Human Rights Commissioner
Kumiki Gibson

The office tower on 125th street and Park avenue is a ugly mess.  When are they going to stop all of this ugly construction up here?
