You can take the Police Communication Technician Exam at the New York City Computerized Testing Centers in Lower Manhattan or in Downtown Brooklyn.

There is a $47 fee for the exam payable by money order, credit card, debit card or bank card (cash or personal checks cannot be accepted)
Daily testing sessions are available 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday and are closed Sundays and Holidays

- TUESDAY 5:30PM
- WEDNESDAY 1:30PM & 5:30PM
- THURSDAY 9:30AM
- FRIDAY 1:30PM
- SATURDAY 9:30AM
You can resend your Resume because this will qualify you to a Permanent Position after you take and pass the Police communication tech exam (911). If you don’t take the Exam you will be Provisional (provisional is Temporary not a permanent position) until you take the Exam.
