Are You a part of WeHarlem?
Every once in a while I come across something that I am sure other people have seen and used before but is new to me. This is a perfect example! I can’t even quite say I remember how I found it but it looks like fun! 
Pretty much everyone under the sun has heard of Foursquare, right? Well I found something called WeHarlem.
WeHarlem seems to be based off of the same idea as Foursquare – using social media as a means to ineract with others via checking in, sharing tips, menu secrets, etc. But WeHarlem also prides itself on this idea of ShoutOuts…
…find a Harlem event or venue, promote an upcoming Harlem event or venue, write a review about a Harlem restaurant, cafe, lounge etc or just say HELLO, then post your message in the Shout field…
Harlemites coming together in this way to share and shout the local happenings in the community: just another reason I love this place!
Have any of you used this social site? They have apps supported for blackberry and iphone.
