Renee Manning has worked with the Mel Lewis Orchestra & the George Gruntz, Chico O’Farrill & Mingus Big Bands. She also toured Europe & Asia. Renee performed live on WBGO at the Sarah Vaughn Jazz Festival and brought down the house appearing with Jimmy Heath, Jimmy Owens and T.S. Monk, at the BAM Cafe. Renee recorded with Arturo O’Farrill & The Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra in Havana, Cuba and her most recent CD is All Grown Up. Earl McIntyre has performed with, recorded or arranged for Gil Evans, Charles Mingus, Miles Davis, Taj Mahal, Lester Bowie, The Band, Stevie Wonder, McCoy Tyner, J.J. Johnson, Carla Bley, Aretha Franklin, Cedar Walton, Levon Helm, the Count Basie Orchestra, the Ellington Orchestra, the Thad Jones -Mel Lewis Orchestra, Slide Hampton, the Mingus Big Band, Cecil Taylor, Arturo O’Farrill & the Afro Latin Jazz Orchestra and Fred Ho. Earl also appears on many Grammy and Tony award-winning productions. His most recent CD release is Brass Carnival & Tribute. Renee and Earl started their own educational venture, Excelsior Music Studio.
