Carnegie Hall presents a Neighborhood Concert: Sbongiseni Duma

When singer, songwriter, dancer, and choreographer, Sbongiseni Duma takes the stage, he transports audience members to South Africa’s KwaZulu-Natal province. “Bongi” is joined by an ensemble that features African djembe drums, percussion, acoustic guitar, and bass for a family-friendly performance that explores the unique features of South African music, including vocal clicks, call and response, and dance moves that will have audience members up out of their seats. Note: The performance is in the Viscusi Gallery at the New York Hall of Science.
