Family Program: Moona Luna

April 25, 2020 2:00pm – 4:00pm

Moona Luna is the kindie group that The New York Daily News says is providing “The Missing Soundtrack For Bilingual/ Bicultural Kids.” After making a splash on the family music scene with their accordion-driven, Latin-inspired debut album, Piñata Party (2011), Moona Luna delivered something fresh in its sophomore album, Vamos, Let’s Go! (2013), By taking inspiration from American pop hits of the 50’S and 60’s. Staying true to their bilingual mission, their third album, P A N O R A M A, celebrated their Latin roots and drew on broader musical influences from the African Diaspora. Come early for an instrument making workshop where master teacher Sandra Bell will help you craft your own instrument to join the band or start your own band after the inspiring concert and dance party. Carla Giudicelli leads a fun and fiery movement class to get you ready to move and groove with the band.
