House Party

May 19, 2019 3:30pm
Directed by Reginald Hudlin | 1990
With Christopher Reid, Christopher Martin, Robin Harris
Old school legends Kid ‘n Play hit up the dopest house party ever in this infectious hip-hop time capsule of dance-offs, rap battles, and record scratch turntablism. Featuring appearances by Full Force and George Clinton along with a standout turn by comedian Robin Harris as Kid’s cantankerous dad, House Party was a smash hit that set off a wave of sequels, none of which could match the original for sheer exuberant energy.
