Kiosk – Harlem Travel Guide – Sutro World

The Only Hookah Lounge In Harlem
North Africa has come to Harlem! Kiosk is the first Moroccan restaurant to come to East Harlem, adding to the recent multicultural dining and entertainment establishments to open in El Barrio. Host/owner Mounir Najd, a native of Casablanca, blends Moroccan/Moorish design elements in the eatery’s décor with classic Moroccan and Mediterranean cuisine. Kiosk is the only restaurant in Harlem to offer late-night hookah service (water filtration smoking of herbal fruits) which creates a unique and memorable dining experience.
Some menu favorites include savory tagines (slow-cooked casseroles of chicken, lamb, or fish), kabobs, couscous, and hummus dishes typical to the region. Every Saturday belly dancing is featured at 8pm and 10pm. Call to find out when Brazilian jazz is scheduled.

Literally a guide in my pocket

I can only subscribe to what other people already have told about the guide. It’s just great that I can read a place description, actually give a call its manager, find it on a map and even hook up on its Twitter channel to keep my eye on it. Very smart!
