Musicians and Methods of Self-Care

Musicians live hectic lives with gigs and professional obligations always pulling them in various directions. This lifestyle makes self-care challenging but research shows us that self-care and wellness practices help to fight off depression, addiction and loneliness – all issues that affect those engaged in creative fields. There are artists that have found ways to integrate wellness practices in their daily lives with life changing results.

Join us as musicians and music lovers for an opportunity to learn from other musicians and professionals how they find ways to take better care of themselves.

This talk will feature a several multi-dimensional musicians who are practicing yoga, tai chi, meditation and other wellness practices in their daily lives. They will share how they have made self-care a priority and how they manage to maintain their practice while keeping up a busy performance schedule.
