Street art provocateur Banksy brought his expectation-defying brand of merry pranksterism to the screen with this stranger-than-fiction documentary in which the famously elusive artist turns the tables—and the camera—on a graffiti-obsessed Frenchman attempting to make his own movie about the LA street art scene. A hilarious and subversive exposé of art world hype and authenticity, Exit Through the Gift Shop is either an incredible wild ride or the greatest stunt ever pulled.
