Join writer and video artist, Akwaeke Emezi and visual artist, ruby onyinyechi amanze for a talk on multiple and blurred Black realities—aliens, ogbanje, and alternate selves. The panelists will discuss the visual art created by amanze as inflected interpretations of Emezi’s text, Freshwater. Book signing will follow.

Cost: Free and open to all, but due to space constraints registration is requested. First come, first serve. We generally overbook to ensure a full house. Registered guests are given priority check-in 15 to 30 minutes before start time. After the event starts all registered seats are released regardless of registration, so we recommend that you arrive early.
