Covo Trattoria Pizzeria and Lounge – Harlem Travel Guide – Sutro Media

Molto Bene or Rustic Tuscan Farmhouse

Owners Andrea and Arcenio Rosas continue their rustic Italian theme (Max Soha, & Max Caffe) with this trattoria and wine bar located in an old railroad station under the Henry Hudson Parkway. They kept the space’s original exposed beams, bricks, and cement floors, and made the space their own with cozy candlelight and antique bric-a-brac, and a wood-burning pizza oven.
Covo’s menu features crisp, thin-crust pizza with fig, gorgonzola and pancetta, hearty pasta dishes like pappardelle with lamb ragu, black ink fettuccine with crab and spaghetti carbonara.
Covo offers a prix-fixe brunch every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-2pm for $15.95, which includes a choice of orange juice, bellini, or mimosa and coffee, plus a main course selection from a menu of various egg dishes, grilled items, and griddle breads – all with an Italian twist.
After enjoying a meal downstairs, diners can retire upstairs to Covo Lounge, which sports an eclectic collection of sofas and chairs, to enjoy a classic cocktail or a simple glass of wine from an extensive list. The lounge features live jazz and half-price drinks and pizza every Thursday from 8:30pm-11:30pm. The lounge operates a Happy Hour on Wednesday from 5pm-8pm, when signature cocktails and wine by the glass are priced at $5, domestic and imported beer for $3, and half-price pizza.

Literally a guide in my pocket

I can only subscribe to what other people already have told about the guide. It’s just great that I can read a place description, actually give a call its manager, find it on a map and even hook up on its Twitter channel to keep my eye on it. Very smart!
