Please join us for the Studio Museum in Harlem’s fifth annual Lea K. Green Artist Talk at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture, New York Public Library

The Studio Museum in Harlem is proud to honor Titus Kaphar and Hank Willis Thomas at The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. The evening’s program will feature a conversation between Kaphar, Thomas, and Thelma Golden, Director and Chief Curator of the Studio Museum.

The Lea K. Green Artist Talk brings together exceptional artists and cultural luminaries annually for critical dialogues on art and society. Previous honorees for the Lea K. Green Artist Talk include Carrie Mae Weems (2016), Jordan Casteel (2017), Amy Sherald (2018), and Dawoud Bey (2019).

This year’s talk is presented in partnership with The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. This program is made possible by the Lea K. Green Memorial Endowment Fund, established by Lea’s family and friends.
