Both a provocative dissection of celebrity culture and a delirious sensory explosion, Vox Luxtraces the meteoric rise, fall, and attempted comeback of a pop superstar (an electrifying Natalie Portman) whose life is framed by twin tragedies. The operatic delirium is heightened by a soundtrack featuring original songs by Sia and a score by the late avant-garde icon Scott Walker.
