Partyup: A Prince Tribute!

Purple Army … come prepared to party. This funky tribute to the incomparable performer known as Prince celebrates his 60th birthday, honoring “His Royal Badness” with Partyup’s glorious renditions of the star’s funk, pop and rhythm and blues hits, alongside spoken word poetry, costumes, multimedia, choreography and performance art. Expect to hear everything from “I Wanna Be Your Lover,” “1999” and “If I Was Your Girlfriend” to “Housequake,” “Adore” and so many more. More than just a live musical tribute show, be there when Partyup tells Prince’s musical journey with narration of some of his most iconic funk and soul jams at the Harlem Ideal Events and Community Centre as part of the New York Black Arts Festival.
