SummerStage Concert: Rhiannon Giddens/Son Little

June 16, 2018 | 7:00pm – 10:00pm
The banjo and fiddle maestro, Rhiannon Giddens, is best known for co-founding the string band, Carolina Chocolate Drops. But Giddens’ successes hardly stop with the Drops. She’s an acclaimed solo artist and formidable vocalist whose first album, Tomorrow Is My Turn, was nominated for a Grammy. In 2017, her work earned her the MacArthur Genius Grant.
She’ll be joined by the musical alchemist, Son Little, for what promises to be a moving melange of some of America’s most storied musical traditions.
